This policy explains what personal data Kalaivani Stores collects when you use our online store, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and similar consumer-protection expectations.

1. What we collect

• Account details — your name, phone number and email address, which you enter when you sign in.
• Delivery details — the delivery address(es) you save in your profile.
• Order history — the items you order, order totals, order status and timestamps.
• Basic technical data — session and sign-in information handled securely by our hosting and database provider (Supabase).

2. Why we collect it

• To create your account and keep you signed in securely (passwordless email codes).
• To process, deliver and track your orders, and to contact you about them.
• To pre-fill your details at checkout so ordering is quick.
• To keep the store running safely and prevent abuse (for example, order spam).

3. Payments

Payments are made by UPI, directly from your own UPI app to the store's UPI QR code. We never see, collect or store your UPI PIN, card number or bank credentials, and none of that information passes through this website.

4. Who we share it with

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider, which stores the data described above on servers secured by Supabase.
• Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and order records for as long as your account exists, so that order history and reordering keep working. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

• Access — ask us what data we hold about you.
• Correction — update your name, phone or addresses anytime from My Profile.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your personal data and account.
• Grievance — raise a concern about how your data is handled and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Children

The store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

8. Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart and remember your saved address. This is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Clearing your browser data will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above always reflects the latest version.
